Accounting Director
Critical Position Bonus: $10,000 or $25,000
Central Peninsula Hospital| Soldotna| AK

This position is eligible for $25,000 relocation assistance, a Critical Position Bonus equal to $10,000 (1 year commitment) or $25,000 (2 years), and participation in the Director-level Incentive Compensation Plan, which currently provides a maximum annual incentive opportunity of up to 10% of annual earnings.

Responsibilities
• The Accounting Director provides strategic leadership and oversight of the organization's accounting and financial operations.
• This position is responsible for directing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, debt financing, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• As a key member of the leadership team, this role supports executive decision-making through accurate financial analysis and reporting while promoting the organization's long-term financial stability.

Qualifications / Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, Master’s preferred
• 5 years of finance or accounting — senior level experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred
• Knowledge of automated financial and accounting systems, federal and state financial regulations, budgeting and forecasting methodologies, and profitability analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, forecasts, and projections.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to facilitate meetings, collaborate with stakeholders, and build effective working relationships across the organization.
