Balanced CPAs is seeking a new tax preparer to join our team.

About Us:

We are a local CPA firm that provides individual and business tax services, bookkeeping services, and payroll services.

Role:

In this role, your main responsibility is to prepare tax returns in accordance with federal and state regulations. We prefer candidates with at least 3 years of tax experience, but we encourage you to apply even if you have less!

Responsibilities:

Prepare business and individual tax returns.

Communicate with clients about open items and follow up as needed

Manage and update your own project queue

Follow established firm processes and procedures

Prepare 1099s and print W-2 forms

Other duties as assigned

Technical Skills & Requirements:

Must be proficient with computers as majority of our processes are electronic.

Strong communication and written skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information

Familiarity with CCH Tax software is a bonus, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a full time position from 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. We can be flexible with hours if needed. Overtime is often available during our busy seasons, but we will not require you to work overtime. Pay ranges from $25-$35 an hour depending on experience.
